I wouldn't quite go that far. While it's true that this year's finals were largely competetive, there will always be tight games and blowouts, regardless of the number of classes. Personally, I preferred the old 4 class system and didn't see any need for expansion. 4 classes and the top two in each district make the playoffs, shortening it by a round. I like the idea of breeding as much competition as possible. Every team shouldn't make the playoffs,IMO. Give the programs that don't make the playoffs every year something realistic to shoot for. It would make qualifying for the playoffs truly mean something again.

Having said all of that, you're right 55, this years finals have been great. Perhaps the best of the 6 class era. Of course, as I'm typing this, Trinity is beating Dixie's brains out. Smile
