Did anybody call 1-900-909-9900 and pay $1.49 a minute to get the latest breaking inside info in the world of pro wrestling.....?
There is a YouTube video on the WWE channel about the Top 10 Mean Gene Hotline moments. Some of his "clues" were pretty easy to figure out.
He would always drop hints about the WWF....
"Just say Jimmy Hart on the phone with a superstar he used to manage in another Wrestling Federation"
But he would end the segment with... "I can't dare talk about it on the air, but call 1-900-909-9900 and hear all the details when you press option 1."
