Here are some interesting numbers:
Strength of schedule- Williamsburg
Opponents records- 58 wins and 88 losses= 30 point negative.
Hazard 10-3 and Campbellsville 7-5 played in the playoffs and not in season.
Adding up the 1A 2A and so on by points gives you 25 points.

Strength of schedule- Raceland
Opponents records- 72 wins and 77 losses= 5 point negative.
Paintsville 10-3 and Fairview 7-5 played TWICE in the same season, once for district play and then in playoffs. Paintsville knocking off Pikeville at Pikeville.
Adding the points total for classification is 30 points for Raceland.
Yes Raceland has 2 losses, 6 points to a 4A school and 13 points to a very good Ohio team. With that being said, Racelands schedule appears to be stronger than that of Williamsburg, just looking at the numbers.

I like looking at this stuff as well and ai STRONGLY feel that a tough schedule prepares your for these types of games. But we played a tougher schedule than they did last year as well, and you see where that got us. We were prepared for the atmosphere, imo. We were prepared for the Jackets and what they did. That was obvious by our adjustments from the time they went up 14-0 until it about midway through the 3rd quarter. Then they adjusted their defense and we had no answer to a 3-4 flex defensive scheme we hadnt seen all year and they hadnt seen them run on film, we werent prepared for that. That game was a chess match defensively and they got us in a check mate by the 4th quarter and the rest is lopsided history.

It will be the same this year. I think we will be much better prepared do to handle alot more because of our speed defensively. If we can keep our B gaps from getting blown up I think we can handle their rushing attack and I like our matchups on their recievers. I called this game to be in the 30s, but if we are going to win, I think the game will be in the mid to upper 20s. Its going to boil down to our Defense keeping their offense off the field.
