Both of them put up a lot of points and can score in waves. Raceland is around 41 points a game and Paintsville is right at 30. That's including playoffs. Raceland's defense seems to peaking at the right time, and with the exception of Ironton, they've only given up three touchdowns since the end of September. I would not be shocked at all to see them in Bowling Green.

I didnt realize that, but you are right. Outside of the Ironton game, our starting defense has given up 3 TDs since the first game in Ocober. All 3 were to Fairview. Our JV/Frosh kids have done a great job preserving scoring margins and shutouts as well.

IMO, what has made the difference in our offense is or improvements in the running game. No, we dont have that signature back that gobbles up 150/game. But we have a hardnosed, north to south, facemask to the chest, downhill, never say die RB in JRs Kane Snyder(900+yds) and Carson Christian(600+yds), Is a great combination of agility, strength, and power. You couple that with Young, Messer, and Walker(only a soph and the kid is a mule) they all combine for around 900 yards and you have alot to deal with coming out of the backfield. Couple that with Messer, Dixon, and Howard at the WRs and you have an offense that you must be balanced against. You cant stack the box because of our passing game(the numbers dont show how good it really is, even with Young's 1600 yards and 23 TDs. And if you play a man or nickel defense will either find a soft spot or send our wr down the field and allow our lines speed to trap and counter to open up holes. I expect a great ball game tonight though. Goina be another cold evenin!
