Pike County Central @ Belfry 10-24-14

I think Horton has a big, BIG night. From what I have seen of PCC they can throw with the best of them and have several good receivers but their line seems suspect. So far this year the Pirates have been thrown all over by teams who actually try to pass. Pikeville ate them up with the short passes, LC beat them with several deep balls and CAK tossed for over 300 yards.

If PCC had the defense to stop Belfry's rushing attack or the line to protect their QB for 4 quarters then I would be worried that PCC gets their first win over the Pirates in history. However while I think the Hawks will get their yards in the air and put up a few TD's I don't think it will be enough.

This pass happy Hawk squad will help the Pirate pass D as they continue to work on their coverage but in the end Pirates take it by a few scores.
