I am sure if you really know anything about football you would agree lc had a good game plan they stop raceland on their 1st drive then run the ball right down the field and scored. Would it surprise you that lc had more yards on the ground than raceland with less attempts. Do you really think that kiser is going to have 6 turnovers in game again this year. You commit 7 turnovers you are going to loose. If I remember correctly lc only punted the ball 2 times. And turned it over on downs 2 time. The rest of the time turnovers, which raceland took advantage of, as good teams do. Once raceland was ahead they could open up their playbook and try anything they wanted. Pcc will determine the dawgs season.

Have to agree. Between the 30s LC ran the ball effectively. Their 3 trips inside the redzone resulted in turnovers either on downs or other wise, and a touchdown. Raceland made really good adjustments after the 1st drive. All but 2 of the 7 turnovers were forced by the Rams though. Imo, LC wasnt quite as good as anticipated, they overlooked Raceland a bit and Raceland came out and smacked them in the mouth each and everytime someone from LC had the ball. Outside of LCs scoring drive, Raceland bent bt did not break and did an incredible job at getting alot of Raceland guys on ball carriers to force fumbles. Raceland probably played their best defensive game of the year. You can put up all the numbers in the world by ground, air, or sea for that matter. But in football, eapecially hs football, there are only 2 that really matter. Turnovers and Penalties. Both can kill a teams chance at a win. Raceland has suffered from that the last 4 years against Ashland. Raceland should be 3-1 against Ashland the last 4 years. But turnovers and penalties led to losses. Cant beat, even a descent team, turning the ball over and having multiple 15 yard penalties.
