Which "Wright?"

Coaches with the last name "Wright" are ridiculously common for some reason?

You have Larry or "Bud," Vernon, Kevin, Kent, Mark, Tommy, Robert, Darrell, Matthew, Lynn, Jahmal, Michael, Dickey, Brad, Todd, Ronald, Jack, Josh, Steve, Nathan, Kenyatta, Charles, and I also know of a Coach Wright that is the head coach at Raleigh Egypt High School. These guys are all descent coaches, but I am not 100% sure they'd move to Louisa?

I will say, however, that I hope you're talking about Donate Wright? Last I heard he was coaching at Morehead? I think he is the type of head coach that the community and the players would have no issue giving respect starting day one. The only issue would be if he wanted to drop a level in order to get head coaching experience? He seems to be having a great career so far coaching college, and I know for myself I worried if being a head coach on the high school level would hurt me more than anything if I wanted to eventually be a college head coach? Depending on the Athletic Director it may, but he has experience at the college level, and it may give him a chance to see what level he wants to be on? I, for one, would absolutely love if that happened. Eastern KY high school football is better for everyone when there are multiple teams that can dominate statewide. He has the playing and coaching experience, its his home, the players would immediately give him respect, and to top it off he would be coaching with passion every time he stepped on that field. I also don't think he'd carry the Walton's as a coaching staff? I'd personally contribute to that hat if it got passed around to match his salary. He is definitely a great candidate and I hope they pursue it?

That is the exact Wright he was talking about. With a hire like that the Man would have the full trust and respect of this community. He would also hire a top notch staff right out of the gate. He is from here and played here but he is not your typical "good ole boy" as some like to refer to it on here.
