Valley played well in this one for the most part.

Pikeville took the first possession but was forced to punt. Valley then made a long, methodical drive down the field to score first, 8-0. After forcing another Panther punt, Valley scored again, this time on a long TD run by the HB. Once again Pikeville was forced to punt, but Valley ran out of time before the half and led 16-0 at the break.

Valley had the ball first in the third, and once again marched down the field to score, making it 24-0. Pikeville finally dented the scoreboard on their next drive, scoring on a long pass play to cut the lead to 24-8. The Wildcats then responded with another long drive and pushed in another score, making it 30-8. After the next Panther possession ended on a failed 4th down attempt, Valley let the clock run out and the night was done.

After defeating the Panthers a few weeks earlier by 34-8, tonight's win gives Valley a season sweep of Pikeville. The Wildcats are now 7-0 on the year.
