Going by that logic, if I coached a team like Phelps against Belfry and I would most certainly lose, so that would mean that I wasn't prepared mentally or physically to compete against them? LOL Also, to say that someone is not "out coached" is not putting blame on anyone, sometimes teams are just better and all the coaching in the world will not change that.

I really hope your not "coaching" anymore because that is embarrassing for any coach to say. You would lose to belfry because they're are a better team, but that's not how you get out coached. LC was the favorite going into Friday and they didn't just lose they got humiliated in front of their home crowd. If anyone thought Raceland was just that much better then I doubt there would be any talk? Some of what you've said in the last three posts is an insult to any coach that gives his time and passion to the game. You do have to have talent but that's a very small part of it. LC had just as much talent as Raceland and they were blown out. If you're apart of the staff, which I assume you are, then you did not prepare these kids, you're game plan was either terrible or you didn't prepare them enough to execute it, they have not learned what a winning team atmosphere looks like, and from the looks of how the team is performing, you've not prepared them mentally. There are several teams all over the state and especially in eastern KY that have had talent and not gotten results, but all of a sudden a coach comes in with credibility, experience, knowledge, and respects the game enough to prepare his players for anything and they start winning and they keep winning. Not because of an overload of talent but because of the consistent system in place.
