Bluegrassrivals, the home of the greatest coaches in the world! Every decision is right, every play is a touchdown, defenses hold offenses to zero yards, and there are no penalties, turnovers, or no need for adjustments, because everyone has everything figured out! You know, I have been around football for over 30 years as a player and a coach, and I have yet to figure out how someone gets "out coached" I think that is a comical term used by people who can't line up 11 to play on a football field. I realize that coaching is a high stress and high pressure position, but I also know that people have hidden agendas and when teams hit a bump in the road, those folks always seem to come to the forefront with all these reasons why a coach should be replaced...... I'm wondering if someone would take a look at the people complaining a little closer if some of these things would be revealed..... Just my 2 cents worth.

To say that you weren't "out-coached" would be putting all the blame on your players. Any good coach with any type of integrity will always take responsibility for the losses and let the players enjoy the wins. Getting "out-coached" is a phrase that is directed at descent coaches that for whatever reason was not prepared mentally or physically to compete against another team. Every good coach in the world has been out-coached at one time or another.
