I think its a tad naive to think Pikeville doesn't have just as good as any athletes Mayfield has seen this year. I think that anyone that's played Pikeville can elaborate on that? McCracken's' opponents have a 14-16 record and that school in TN is below average. I agree that Mayfield still deserves to be #1 in 1A, but that doesn't mean their defense won't be challenged just because they played McCracken close? The only strong team McCracken has played is Mayfield. It's all just talk of course until it happens, but Pikeville's speed can be compared with anyone.
