Here are the coaches. Joey Cecil,, Alan Short, Bryan Short, John Caudill. Ex players who help. Where good too. Shane Pack, Kyle Carter, Travis Hughes. The rest fans with better seats than me. Shane Pack could be a good coach. Maybe a few others. Maybe a great coach somwhere in the mix. Just trying to lighten the mood. All of them seem dedicated especially thode who dont get paid. Dougie is the most dedicated but not a coach. Way too much confusion. We have more coached than ky.

I may be wrong but it appears there are a few on that list that came back after Salmons left? I know he tried his best to clean house, but its hard to tell alumni no it some cases? Its fine to let them hang out, but I don't see anyone on that list besides the Shorts that could be an effective OC or DC? Cecil is and would be a dandy assistant coach, but that's it. He doesn't gain enough respect from his players to be a head coach. Its possible he could do good at a different school? Maybe Allen Central or Betsy Layne or even Boyd, but if LC wants to get back to being a dominant team in the state they need to invest in somebody that can get them there. If I remember correctly, Goldsmith had some of the same issues with coaches? He never could tell anyone no, and it ended up bringing the entire program down to lowest its ever been. Assistant coaches have to know their role and maintain it. Otherwise, you have a handful of them that think they can do a better job and their dislike for the decisions being made is well-known to the players. You can't build a program like that. I've known coaches that were not great but they surrounded themselves with smart loyal people and nobody ever knew otherwise.
