Ashland (Matt Thomas) and Russell (Josh Gross and possibly Michael Gabbard) both have had middle school players who played freshman football. All of which started varsity their freshmen year and didn't play freshmen their actual freshmen year.
I know Ashland had problems with playing Thomas against Fairview beacuse Fairview has sophmores and juniors on their freshmen team because of their sheer lack of numbers for the football program.
