Eibar have shocked everyone in the last campaign as they are a very small city that for the first time have managed to reach this level. They are currently sitting in mid-table with a win and a defeat and they know well that if they want to have a chance of surviving in this division they will have to make the most of the home matches. They have won in their debut at home with a goal scored by attacking midfielder Javi Lara and then they defended that only goal from Real Sociedad’s attacks. In the second round they made a trip to the Vicente Calderon but Gaizka Garitano’s men couldn’t avoid a 2-1 defeat.

Deportivo La Coruna managed to get back to La Liga at the first attempt in the last campaign however it is likely that they will struggle to retain this status. They started the new season with a defeat but in the last round they managed to get a 2-2 draw at home against Rayo Vallecano. Also in that occasion they left it very late and were only able to get a point thanks to an injury time penalty. They seem to be very leaky at the back and Victor Fernandez will have to find a way to keep at bay talented Mikel Arruabarrena who has scored two goals against them when those two sides met in the Segunda Division last term.
