BREAKING: Cordia Receives Sanctions Program Suspended
sstack Wrote:Been reading several sites on this topic and surprised no one is coming down hard on administration! AD, Principal, Super., ect. These people should be held accountable.

All this crap about not going after the large schools kills me too. These are the schools a lot of people would love to see fall, you do not think they (might be some who do not) follow every rule very close! I know (very close follower of Highlands and friends with many of coaches in different sports there) at our school it is crazy how much they worry about every little rule and in every sport not just the big male sports! I think these small schools are being nieve and thinking they can get away with it and this is why they are the ones the KHSAA is coming down on.

The situation at Cordia is completely different.

Knott County Schools LEASE Cordia as part of their school system, even though they are a privately owned school.

The Superintendent and Athletic Director had nothing to do with this.

As a matter of fact - I would bet both of them probably danced a little jig when they heard about all of this.
