I'm certain Cordia had some seriously shady stuff going on, but I have some legit questions about some of these violations

Allowing a staff member to lease housing to the family of a student-athlete without ever receiving payment; Facilitating housing for a student-athlete at no cost to him or his family; Does this include family members? A coach lets his cousins move in to a rental he owns, doesn't charge them cause they're family

Providing free transportation to relocate a student from an out-of-state school; Does that apply to a coach living in a neighboring state that coaches in Kentucky and has a truck that helps a friend and their family move 15 minutes away to a house they just bought in his school district in Kentucky. A year later, he's coaching a kid from that family.

Providing plane tickets on two separate occasions to a student-athlete so he could travel out-of-state; Poor kid who wants to go to college, but his family can't afford to send him on a visit to a couple of schools he's really interested in

Conducting tryouts for non-enrolled students; 7th and 8th graders

Allowing ineligible players to practice and compete in contests before they were cleared to participate; Situation where player was granted, but later denied for mistake on KHSAA's part

Those scenarios have happened at many programs across the state where the KHSAA investigated and found no wrong doing. Some of the other violations have some gray area to it that also puts that program in the clear. With recent punishments to Fairview and Cordia, do you think the KHSAA will start cleaning up some of the bylaws?
