Could turf mean state finals at Commonwealth?

I find it hard to believe that most of the colleges in Kentucky don't have enough hotels and things like that in the town and area they are in.
I don't know the numbers for how many people go to the Kentucky High School championships but some make it sound like this is a sold out NFL game with 75 or 80 thousand fans. One thing that I don't hear anyone talking about is of the number of people who do come, how many just come round trip to see their team play and then go back home. Some of you make it sound like everyone that goes to the thing stays for days or something.
I would say more go back home after their team is done then those who stay for one night or more. What was the total attendance in Bowling Green for all 6 games last season? Out of what ever total you get I would say about 80% of that if not more is people who went back home the same day.

Not sure, but can't really count last year.....weather was terrrrrrrrriiiiibbllle. Most of the state was hit with the first ice storm of the year that weekend. The previous years have all been really good.
