How so?

Only have to play Williamsburg or Hazard instead of having to play both. Much like the winner of the Raceland/Fairview district would only have to play Pikeville or the 2nd Seed, not both and the 2nd seed has to play both.

Worst case scenario, PHS finishes 2nd in district and has to play both like they would have had to before minus home field. And it also gives you two shots at Hazard in that case.
