I was thinking that as well. Which isnt that far of a drive. Raceland was in a district with LCA, Nicholas Co, Fairview and Paris for awhile. Outside of Fairview and Raceland games, that was alot of travel for all involved. There's no good way about it really. Either the studs r together or spread apart. Traveling is part of it bc the sigle A schools in the East are so spread apart. There's no way around someone having to drive a few hrs. I for one think that plays into playoff preperstion as well. Thats why Id like to see Raceland put a Prestonsburg, Bellevue orCorbin on the schedule. That would provide good competition after a good drive. Traveling to Nicholas County, only to play your starters for 3 or 4 series the first two quarters isnt preparing anyone for anything.
