Well I will just tell you Chapman won three state titles coaching defense. I would say he can coach defense as good or better than anyone in this state. He has just made the switch to offense. Look at the defense last year. Mac Justice did not play defense, Andrew fields did not play defense, the running back #7 did not play defense. That is three of the best athletes on the team. They did not play defense. Chapman understand that football in the mountains has changed. It's about offense now. Kids are soft. Especially Central kids. They are very soft. Only certain teams in the mountains still maintain that knock your head off defense. It has went to the spread and air it out offenses. Only certain teams in the hills of eastern kentucky play defense anymore. Sorry to bust some peoples bubbles but that's the facts. Kids are soft these days.
