Perry Central Bringing in Top Assistant?
#2
Voldemort Wrote:We all know Perry Central shocked the mountains with the hire of Jordan Amis. Even without any experience, I believe he is exactly what the program needed and with some time I think he will prove his doubters wrong.

Since his hire though, many people have been wondering what kind of staff this kid could put together and how they would co-exist considering he will probably be at least 10+ years younger than his top assistants.

From what I've been hearing lately, Perry has possibly hit a home run with their new top assistant. John Paul Chapman, current (possibly former) Head Pike County Central football coach, could very well be in the Commodore red and black next year.

If this is true, it will be a huge get for Amis and his coaching staff. Chapman is known for the style of defense he runs and I believe he would mix great with an offensive minded coach like Jordan.

The non-existent kind?

Sheldon Clark was the only team not to score at least 20 points on Pike Central last year. The top three teams the Hawks face last combined to score one point shy of 200 points in 4 games... a number that certainly would have been eclipsed if not for the running clock in two of those games.

If Chapman ducks out this late into the Summer and leaves his team high and dry, is he really the type of guy you want on your staff trying to help groom a young coach?
