Nothing against the man, but I know first hand of a lot of dirty things that he has done to local players in the past. I think it was good that he stepped down, a lot of trustees were upset because they were paying for kids out of state to go play there instead of the local kids.

NAIA allows football teams at most 25 scholarships, so that puts a hole in your argument.

And most of the local players you're talking about weren't going to be able to play at the Mid-South level anyway.
