Here a list of a few players before 1980.
There is a good artical on Charlie Osborne on Western Kentucky's Basketball Web Site.
1) King Kelly Coleman - Wayland HS leading scorer in Ky HS basketball
2) Charlie Osborne - Flat Gap HS (Mid to late 50's)2nd leading scorer in Ky HS basketball, played at Western Ky and was drafted into the NBA. Injured during preseason and did not play in the NBA.
3) Donny Butcher - Meade HS (Mid to late 50's) One of the leading scorers for Pikeville College. Drafted by the NBA played 5 or 6 seassons for New York and Detroit and coached a couple of seasons for Detroit.
