My point was not to brag about our success, but the point is ALL defenses and offenses can be successful. Your kids have to buy in, and your coaches have to coach the hell out of it. It's not about schemes.

What I love reading is the double standard clearly obvious for styles of play.

Go .500, go O'fer, fall short in the title game....running the flexbone, wishbone, wing t, sbv, etc. And the offense is at fault.

Have the same results in the spread and all is forgiven.

Go under center and run buck sweep out of the old delaware wing t look, and its an outdated offense. Go 5 wide and run it, and people think its the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Run an old school counter trap with a G and T pulling, and its blasphemy. .....run it from the spread and pull one linemen w/ an H Back (old single wing blocking back is all it is, but neither of those sound as cool, right?), and you get instant credibility as a good coach.

Its amazing the number of people who think they know the slightest about the game, when in all reality that dont really know chite.
