This game was unbelievable! Such a fun game to watch. There were numerous ties and lead changes throughout the whole game. I'm just guessing here but 98% of this game was played while it was a one possession game. Henry Clay had a great game plan to slow Trent Gilbert down but Hines Jones, Tony Martini and company stepped up and made plays when they had to. Jordan Green and Tisdale played phenomenally for Henry Clay. Jordan Green picked up his 5th foul on a somewhat controversial loose ball foul call with about 3 minutes left in the 4th. This was when the ball game was decided. Even though they were definitely still in the game until the end, it seemed like the air kind of deflated from the team. I believe it was a foul, but still a tough break for that young man to end his high school career on that play. Wherever he ends up playing college ball, they will be very happy they got him I promise you that! Congrats to Coach Hicks and Scott County on another appearance at Rupp.
