Reality check, some kids are better than others. Some teams are better than others. Teams win, others lose. Life is full of victories and defeats. Sports should be preparing our kids for life, and the theory that "everybody's a winner" is a crock. You win humbly and lose graciously. You practice and work to do your best, not to do your best based on the size of your school or how many division I players your school has produced. My kids have been a part of great success and victory and heartbreaking defeat, and they are the better for all of it. If you want something handed to you on a silver platter, so be it. To each his own.
