Vince--do you ever notice that you respond to your posts 3 or four times before anyone else does?

Think about it.

1. At the time--that district was NOT anywhere near as tough as you make it out to be. The only perennial contender was DANVILLE. The others had not won a state championship at that point (and had not done anything spectacular). If this happened in 2000-2004, I would agree with you. But to that point--YOU ARE WRONG.

2. I never said that Hilton wasn't a good coach. But top 5? Are you kidding me? If he was so great--he wouldn't have to water down the field when ever the big boys come to town. (Ah--that would actually speak to his FEAR of playing the great teams--which is an INSULT to the kids that play for him).

3. Ask ANYONE from Bourbon County--they will tell you the truth (but I doubt that anyone would want to talk to a person like you--who refuses to listen)--everyone in Paris KNEW that they had a good team coming up. It is THAT SIMPLE.

4. Keep in mind--they were a running team--it RAINED 4 straight weeks. With an above average team that plays Boyle/LexCath (who chuck the rock)--this turned out to be the best break that they could get. Most people would call this DUMB LUCK.

To a certain extent--I should know better. I know my football--yet I continue to argue with an uninformed homer who refuses to except the reality of the situation at hand. So, to a certain extent--I deserve having to put up with this in a way.

But I will close with this--I will take my rings anyday of the week and twice on Sunday when it comes to who knows their stuff. You homer-ish attitude in regard to the subject should have been enough for me to know better.
