Miller spent the bulk of the Pineville game on the bench in foul trouble. Aaron Simpson, Harlan's other big that professor says has no game, had 21 points and 13 rebounds and was the main reason for the win. Simpson then had 15 to lead all scorers but Potter against Bell, and he was the Harlan radio station's player of the game. Busroe, the guard professor says struggles to handle the ball, had 6 assists and 1 turnover against Bell, and Harlan had only 8 turnovers as a team against Bell, a team ranked higher than Middlesboro.

Harlan is 3 (North/Pineville/Lynn Camp) and 2 (Bell twice), not 3-3 as Tri-County Sports has them listed.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion on the rankings, and thankfully you never have to let facts get in the way. We can read them, believe them, or not, because it all eventually is settled on the scoreboard anyway. Just thought rivals members might be interested.

You're right, they're 3-2. I was trying to get it posted before my wife and I left for our church's Christmas play.

I think M'boro and Harlan are interchangeable, really. I actually think M'boro is more talented than Harlan, but that 53-point loss was just too much to put them ahead of the Green Dragons.

Harlan has one good win (North Laurel), and no bad losses, to this point. They really shouldn't lose another game until they play Harlan Co on Jan 14th. I don't like their schedule at all and think it will hurt them come tournament time. But, I've been wrong before.
