Belfry left,at minimum 10 points on the field. That is what it is you have to cross the goal or kick the FG to get credit and they didn't. BC only scored the last touchdown with 5 seconds left that should have never been on the clock due to some dandy time keeping. Belfry dominated Bourbon from late in the second quarter till the last drive where Belfry just let Bourbon catch stuff in front of them and move down the field. They were never seriously threatened though another TD or two would have been nice. Holding a team as explosive as BC is to basically 180 yards total is a great effort IMO.

Totally agree with you on Belfry's defensive performance...

But keep in mind... Wayne Co. held Corbin to -12 yds, Central to 8 yds, and Tilghman to 95 yds. These are game total rushing yards over the past 3 weeks. Kind of scary defensive numbers, but it is what it is.

Like I've said a few times now, Belfry NEEDS to be able push Wayne off the ball and win with power. I don't think the Pirates can match them with speed... I'd just hate to see Belfry get too cute and go away from what I believe is the best chance to win - hog the ball and win between the tackles.
