Wow what a game. Let's start by giving credit to Ft.Thomas on the victory tonight. The first half they were clicking on offense, and forced two early LC turnovers on defense. Once the clock started running at 36-0 I think most people thought the game was over. LC played their butts off in the second half and I think all observers will tell you that Highlands had reasons to be concerned. Ultimately the clock and the early deficit came back to bite LC. When you are facing a quality opponent you can not beat yourself with turnovers and penalties. Credit to the Knights for fighting back to make the score 28-36, but the Bluebirds made enough plays to hold them off. Great game from two great programs, nothing but the best to both teams moving forward.
