We host Thanksgiving at our house every year. Usually average around 25 people but have had as many as 45 before. I cook a few turkeys and one ham. The rest of the family brings side dishes and then we make the desserts. I take off Wednesday just to get the house ready with tables, chairs, etc... After everyone eats then we turn on the game (with no sound) and then we visit with family members.

We have done this tradition every since we bought our current house 12 years ago. We took one year off just to have a break. It is nice not having to travel to different houses in one day but it is very stressful hosting that many people.

I would love to also do a huge family Christmas at my house but that has yet to catch on.
