On a side note, Blackman, one of the Tennessee teams the Purples beat this year, beat Oakland Tn. 16-3 last Friday night in the Quarterfinals. Oakland was ranked 28th in the nation by MaxPreps. Bowling Green is currently ranked 87th in the nation by MaxPreps. Our district games kept us from moving up in the polls. We started out 24th.

You see AP, its messages like this that give me even less hope that we are going to beat you On a serious note, our district and quite frankly our region are and have been very weak the last few years. The games do not prepare us for the challenge that BG presents us. We scheduled Highlands for a reason, because I think they closely resemble what BG's offense will bring to the table. That game seems like an eternity ago and I am not sure if we remember what it was like playing a great offense. We haven't had much competition since that game and that is what really worries me.
