Here's a thought if you think you could do better become an official. It's easy to call it seeing film try doing it live In a split second

Anyone who has been around sports their whole life, coached and ref'd knows this is an extremely bad call. When YOU become a ref, YOU put yourself in the spot light and YOU think your judgment is above everyone else's, that's why YOU do it. Don't make up excuses for guys who think they aren't capable of making mistakes. The right call, is if you don't know, you confer or change the call. IF YOU CAN'T GET IT RIGHT IN A SPLIT SECOND, MAYBE YOU SHOULD USE YOUR TIME MOONLIGHTING DOING SOMETHING ELSE.
