I remember and independent show being run at the DW Howard Fieldhouse sometime in 1987 or 1988. Main event was Wahoo McDaniel and Tommy Rich vs The Original Midnight Express with Paul E. Dangerously. The show was pretty good as I recall and there was a tag team who worked the undercard who might have been called the US Express or something to that nature. Can't remember who the wrestled but they performed very well. Does anybody have any idea who that may have been? This was the same night that some kid got pushed or allegedly got pushed at ringside by Paul E. and most of the ringside fans tried to get into or around the ring. Also, the tail was for years that the Express had to have a police escort to leave. May have been one of the last wrestling events held there.
