I'm not talking about being under appreciated by parents and people who work with them. I'm sure you do appreciate them--I do, too! (Sometimes). Unfortunately, our appreciation doesn't do them any good as far as opportunities go. I know both if them would love the opportunity to coach on the high school level (doing actual coaching--not just filling a position on a staff). For years, they have been bypassed--that's the under appreciation I'm talking about. As I also said--it's not been as bad with the current staff. However, if the opportunity arises for them to coach on that level at ANY school--they would consider it. You're right about hijacking this thread though-good luck Harlan!!
