I cant believe Batpuff disagees with me, wow thats a shocker.

You said we wonder why kids are the way they are. Do you think maybe the parents have a little something to do with that.

Whats wrong with showing kids that only the good players should play. Whats wrong with teaching our kids that hard work pays off and that if you are good at something you can excell, but if you are not gifted in a certain area, maybe you should use the talents the good Lord gave you. For example, I have always wanted to play the guitar but i am not blessed in that area, therefore, i had to learn to deal with that.

Just wondering if you actually have kids or is he/she the one that gets the "special" treatment? You have got to be kidding me about earning playing time!!
If a child goes to every practice, they give up their time and energy to that coach, they run the suicides and sit the wall until they are in pain, THEY HAVE THEN EARNED THE RIGHT TO PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When a child suffers with their team for the love of the game it shouldn't all be in vain. I don't care if the child has two left feet, they are entitled to be coached. These are just kids! Let them worry about the team cuts when they get to middle school and high school.Kids need to learn how to find their own niche in life. We have enough problems in this world without teachers,coaches, and parents discouraging our children. A child will never live up to it's fullest potential if they are always being told that they just aren't good enough. :Shaking:
