It happens all the time.
Look at smaller school who have freshmen that play three times a week in frosh, jv, and varsity ball.
Its usually rare, but theres a lot of kids that do it.


Also, if you play at a school where coaches are rough like we played back in the day, you pick up a lot more injuries in practice than you do in a game.

I just think it is hypocritical from the KHSAA. The best option is week 4. I also think the old ignorant ways of doing things should be gone. There are enough studies that have been done to show how bad some injuries are. I also do not think a varsity and JV game are comparable. It is crazy to think that the organization that should be students first would let this happen when there is a easier solution. It should be student first not coach first.
