* The BGR Power Rankings are a different take on rankings offering a regional breakdown with all classes combined. These rankings are intended to be fluid with merit awarded on performance, strength of schedule, and the general "it" factor. A team is not guaranteed to retain their spot with a victory, nor are they guaranteed to move down due to a loss**

1. Trinity- The Shamrocks' target has never been bigger in the wake of a talented Senior Class departing that brought them to unprecedented heights as a program.

2. St. Xavier- The Tigers feel it is their year...but as with any year..it all comes down to their biggest rival and if they can regain the momentum in the series.

3. John Hardin- They were a possession away from potentially a 5A State Championship and undefeated season. The Bulldogs bring a ton of experience back including the monstrous Matt Elam.

4. Collins- The 4A Runner-Ups certainly have the right players returning on the roster . Whether some of the Louisville Public Schools pass them is yet to be determined.

5. Central- The Jackets have a dynasty in 3A and they also have possibly the best defense in the State pound for pound returning.
