Collins does not have a weak schedule and no one said it didn't matter, because your schedule does matter. I will admit they don't have a tough schedule, but it is definitely not weak.

You can't say that Collins is bad just because they got beat by Highlands because no Kentucky team has beat Highlands since 2010.

You can judge/evaluate Collins based on the returning talent they have and the improvements they have made in

Basically the same players back for Collins which is a good thing. They could have worked hard over off season to get stronger which is a good thing. The coaching staff could have made changes in off season which is a good thing. They have a couple of really good players (possible D1) which is a good thing. The problem I see is not enough good supporting cast to go around their good palyers and even if the players worked hard over the off season to get stronger and coaches made good changes, it would have to be huge improvements to get to the level of the top teams in 4A and I just do not think it is possible with what we saw last year. Wish them the best, but I just see average team that benefits from weak schedule and weak side of playoff bracket. They were runners ups last year, but I would rank them around 8th in 4A at the end of last year. Not putting Collins program down; I like the school and hope they continue to get better, I just do not think they are as good as a lot of people want to make them out to be.
