GAO Comptroller---- "Improper payments to ineligible recipients cost the government $107 billion in fiscal 2012, Dodaro said. Though 18 agencies are involved, the biggest problems show at the Health and Human Services Department’s Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program and the Education Department’s direct student loan program. Other agencies with related issues include the Treasury and Agriculture departments and the Social Security Administration."

Consider for just a minute how ridiculous the clouds of hot air emanating from your federal government really are. While Obama lambasts everything conservative in OCD fashion, his own affairs resemble a tree house full of chip monks. As the report above shows, we flushed over 100 billion in bogus payments to who knows who, while his adoring public is engaged in political theater where nurses and aides are furloughed at Walter Reed and White House tours are stopped citing money shortages.
Sequestration mandated reductions in spending authority are approximately $85.4 billion (versus $42 billion in actual cash outlays) during fiscal year 2013, with similar cuts for years 2014 through 2021.
So, if I understand this correctly, this administration is perfectly at home with cutting defense to the bone thereby exposing the American public to possible threat while at the same time, they remain unmotivated with regard to the overlapping and wasteful spending of our tax dollars even though hundreds of billions have been ID'd to that particular end. We flush over 107 billion in careless fashion, while we are forced to suffer the ravages of sequestration for a relatively paltry 85 billion? :please:
I've seen a number of administrations come and go. Any one of the to date unaddressed scandals would have sunk any previous administration, to say that amateur hour has come to the White House is understate the seriousness of our plight in grand fashion IMO. Rather than hire 16,500 new IRS employees, it would seem we need to hire enough people to track the areas where the federal government is hemorrhaging hundreds of billions of tax dollars each year.
