At this point, a McConnell loss would not be the end of the world. I think that he would have liked to have voted for the immigration bill. He certainly did not do anything to help defeat it - but I guess he is better than a real Democrat would be. As for Obama, I am not convinced that he actually earned a degree from any school. It is hard to understand why somebody who has no big secrets to hide would have fought so hard to hide his past.

I agree that less is known about Obama than any other president. The fact that the media protects him, asks no questions, and does no investigation whatsoever is a major reason for this. Also, the Republicans have shown a lack of backbone in playing hardball with him.

His whole history is sketchy as is the history of his mother and father. One would think that it would be thoroughly checked out. I blame the Republicans for not doing their job- whether by hook or crook. The end would have justified the means.
