Why would KHSAA turn it down? It's a legitimate move/ relocation. It's not like Madison Central to Madison Southern or from a city school to another city school. I thought as long as they can prove that it's a legitimate relocation, then should it's a good transfer.

I don't have a dog in the fight and wish the kid the best, but, if I remember there was a really good player for Danville two years ago in a similiar situation. It was decided he was going to move in with his Dad from his Mom's place which was moving from Danville to Junction City I think. It was after his football junior year that he moved into the Boyle County district. The KHSAA denied his request and subsequent appeals to play for Boyle County which finished his high school football career, but, he got to play after the Christmas break for Boyle on the basketball team because a year had passed. That's just on memory and I might be wrong about some things. I don't know the ins and outs of the rules, but, the case DOES sound similiar.
