If this guy is speaking the truth, wow! Not only will it become a lose-lose for Obama and the rest of our government, it's a lose-lose for The United States of America.

The fact that all of these records are being saved and the prospect that the feds can decide at any point in the future to mine the data for dirt on political opponents is one of the scariest things about this program. This disclosure coming on the heals of the IRS targeting of Obama's political enemies and the wiretapping of Fox News and the AP should bother every American. Somehow, I don't think that the Democrats who are defending Obama would want a Republican president to have the same power in 2017. I doubt that the timing of Snowden's decision to blow the whistle as a coincidence.
