I'll go straight down the line with HDE on this one. Knox Central and South would appear to be locks as winners, Knox because the rest of their district is so weak, and South because Goins and Rose should pitch out tonight. The others aren't as clear cut, although North has been playing much better than Clay the last half of the season. Having seen both about three times now, Harlan Co. just looks better overall to me than Middlesboro, but I don't discount the Yellow Jackets who have had a good year and were region finalists a year ago.
It will be even more important than usual to win your district this year and give yourself that one in three chance of drawing B'ville/Pineville, so I expect the district championship games to be really intense.
