one of the best games of the year. both teams, both side's fans were great tonight. glad i got a chance to make it to this one. a couple of players for lawrence stepped up big time tonight with clutch hits. #21 cline, #5 turner, and #2 cantrell all had big time hits. was good to finally see lawrence hit some balls hard. even many of their outs were hard. senior lefty stevens for lawrens pitched a great game giving up only 1 run and 3 hits. freshman bailey came in and gave a run in the 6th but battled in the 7th to hold on. greenup has a nice club too. can't wait until tuesday in the 57th. will be a dogfight.
