Sorry man, but NCC is 10-0 with somersets schedule, while the jumpers r 4-6 with NCC's. lets not forget, the last three 2A state champs are from NKY. NCC plays Ryle also and also played cooper in 12. Cooper was in the 5A state game. Also, either ur just plain stupid, or just misinformed, there are district lines for the catholic schools. Sure, any kid can come to NCC, but NCC can't enter certain middle schools due to district lines. Not to mention, there r quite a few catholic high schools in theses three counties that make up NKY. While NCC is basically getting Campbell county kids, cov Cath is pulling from all three. Also, NCC is competing with 2 other catholic high schools that play football in Campbell county. Oh yeah, highlands is less than 5 miles away from ncc. And did I mention, the last 3 2A state champs are NCC x 2 and holy cross. Wasn't somerset blown out by holy cross in 11, a team ncc beat 34-17 and lost 24-21 to?

I've said, somerset had a very good team. The left O tackle (75 i think) was as good as NCC had seen. The problem was or is, I think the team is poorly coached. Some of those kids from the 12 team were punks and were very disrespectful. Not to mention one of the coaches who stood under the goal post after the game and refused to shake the NCC coaches hands after the game.

I'll say it again, if any of the NCC kids would have made the comments that the somerset kids made, coach eviston would have sent them to the locker room. It's one thing to run ur mouth to other players, but when u direct them at coaches in pre-game......that's when that game was lost.

Im glad you're not talking about Cov. HC coach from two years ago. This argument about the players talking trash to the coach would have ended quickly if you had seen how disrespectful he was to the players of Somerset. If its true that Somerset players were disrespectful to the NKY coach last year I'm sorry but its not like it came out of no where. Somerset feels like they have no respect from anyone up north and there is a track record to prove it.
