I'll just reply to both of you in one post. My problem with NKY football in general is this: It is not enough to be good, and win multiple state titles, you have to also talk about the superiority of NKY and how bad south central KY teams are etc. The coaching staff at Somerset has won 48 games in 4 years with 4 straight regional titles and one state runner up... Perfect? No, but coaching is not the issue. Somerset was hurt with a few plays in the passing game and not getting enough stops on 3rd down. The jumpers held one of the best RB's in 2a to 99 yards on the night, considering he was averaging over 200 I'll take that. Regardless, the past is the past. I didn't call New Cath "Turds" I said they play the worst of the worst in Northern Kentucky (they don't play the Highlands, Ryles ect.). I never said we were defeated by a "turd." Somerset was beaten by a New Cath team who was less talented but made more plays. Regardless, the likelihood of the two meeting again in the same scenario is fairly high. Thanks once again to all the Northern Kentucky folks for bringing us hill jacks back down to earth. Thanks also for talking about "punk" 18 year olds, class act, they are kids.
