The lights of the aurora borealis could be on display tonight in the skies over northern U.S. states.
The sun ejected a solar flare on Thursday morning around 2 a.m. that set the stage for a âspectacular display of northern lightsâ Saturday evening, according to AccuWeather.com.
The flare is expected to cast the aurora lights from the Artic to as far south southern Ohio and Indiana, according to AccuWeather. The lights are estimate to be visible starting around 8 p.m. Saturday.
