Recent Books Ive Read and Recommend
#1
I read these three books this month. Check em out..

Killing Lincoln (Bill O'Reilly's book on the final days of the Civil War, the Lincoln assassination, and the hunt for JWB)

Into the Fire (Columbia Kentucky's own Dakota Meyer, Medal of Honor recipient)

Matterhorn (Karl Marlantes's Vietnam story of Hamburger Hill)

I HIGHLY recommend these books. All three of them are absolutely fantastic. Both of the war books will keep you planted until you finish them. Both are harrowing, exciting and if you can finish them without shedding a single tear, then you have no soul. For the record, Meyer and Marlantes were both combat veterans and both executed these books to almost perfection. Killing Lincoln is a masterpiece, and well worth the $20-$25 asking price. Bill O'Reilly did a masterful job detailing the historical period of those three weeks.
