The first part of this comment is very true.

At Corbin, their incoming juniors and seniors won state titles or were runner up. Seniors were back to back runner up, and juniors were back to back state champs in middle school. Now they will be lucky to get past Bell County then you can forget about getting around Central.

From looking at the scores this past year, before they worry about Bell and Central, they better worry about Larue County. Larue beat Corbin worse than anybody all year with the exception of Bell County.

Not to hijack the thread, but Corbin will be back. Heck, they were a good team this year. I never understood all of the 'down' talk, especially bc of what you pointed out Redhound about how successful their Seniors and Junior were.

They just came up short a few games, literally. Corbin was 4 plays (4 losses by a TD or less) away from everybody in the state talking about them, again.
